Jean-Louis ACHART - "Au Fil de l'Eau" association.
The "Au Fil de L'Eau" association helps 50000 users each year to discover the richness of a fragile natural territory, the river. Working with local actors, citizens or communities, they advocate a social and cooperative economy and the protection of biodiversity. Jean Louis Achart, one of the founders of this association, will show us how they help the re-appropriation of the river by diverse means such as: the use of small boats and bank courriers, developing the river banks, the creation of entry-level jobs. Jean-Louis Achart will also share with us how the association, through its actions, was brought to change the regulations.

Living on water is a dream, but it's also a reality. Small traditional villages with major futuristic projects, floating architecture solutions exist.
How to live on water?
Is water under-exploited real-estate or a natural heritage that should be preserved? Halfway between these two approaches, can we develop respectful living solutions with this fragile ecosystem?

Gérard RONZATTI - Architect.
The firm "Seine Design" founded by Gérard Ronzatti en 1985 is a multidisciplinary studio specialized in floating architecture and boats for river passengers. At the heart of this Parisian "box of ideas", architects, engineers and designers put together their skills to produce innovative, modular and nomad floating projects. The objective? To emerge an architecture shaped for and by the river that reinvents the uses of floating according to the territories and their issues.
